      About Mark Sellers

      At my core, I am a career salesperson. I founded Breakthrough Sales Performance in 1998 after working twelve years in sales and sales management for healthcare companies. I am the author of two books on sales. As a small business owner, I know the pressure of hitting quota every year.
      As a sales trainer and coach I’ve seen many sales leaders struggle with the stress and risk that comes with not having tools, processes and cadences to lead a sales team. I’ve seen many sales leaders struggle with the important task of developing their salespeople and become disappointed in “one size fits all” training programs that bore some, uninspire others, and aren’t implemented by most. It’s a costly lesson that doesn’t result in all salespeople becoming more effective.
      Blindspots in SalesTM throws out one-size-fits-all sales training that jeopardizes a sales leader’s credibility from two sources - her salespeople and her supervisor.

      I created Blindspots in SalesTM after encountering my own blindspots that hindered progress in my personal and professional life, and then discovering “the better version of myself.” I am wildly more successful after this discovery than before.
